ABOUT  US

Thrive Youth Project is an initiative set up by Watford African Caribbean Association, a registered charity that has been in existence in Watford since 1976.  We are  dedicated to making a difference in our local community.  With the assistance of our DBS checked volunteers all giving of their free time, our partners and sponsors, we strive to improve the lives of our local young people, by supporting their families to thrive.

We are  currently based at  Asda Community Centre, North Watford on a Monday from 18.30 hrs pm to 20.00 hrs pm.   Children must be accompanied by the parent in attendance who remains responsible during the session.

Parents and guardians please register via the Join Thrive page to take part in our activities, and also gain access to our on-line events area and educational videos, so do support us when these are advertised.  THANK YOU!

We are closed during the Monday Bank Holidays 2024

MEDIA AND MUSIC

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those interested in media and music. With access to the right resources, our young people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. SPORTS

At Thrive Youth Project we feel that  physical exercise is good for the mind, body and spirit.  Team sports help teach adolescents leadership skills, dedication and team spirit all necessary characteristics for adult life.   Contact us to learn more about our commitment to sport and what we can currently offer.

FOOD & HEALTH

At Thrive Youth Project we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Healthy living is by no means an easy feat, but by the investment of our volunteers and the empowerment of our young people we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
